UntitledThe creation of The Art of Entertaining in 1988 was a culmination of many years providing management and catering services in a variety and very diverse number of establishments. Including Cafe’s – Banqueting Suites – Private Houses – Pubs – Restaurants and Hotels.

Entertaining people is an Art in itself and a craft not often exercised properly. Any event whether an intimate dinner for two or a banquet for several hundred has to include magical touches enabling the guests to feel welcome and to experience that something special. The atmosphere, setting and entertainment must summon up every facet and be enhanced with food and wine to make that the occasion memorable.20150809_101303-1

The Art of Entertaining did not start to be an outside catering company. Our catering services that are customised to our clients budgets and requirements are designed individually. So we do not provide a selection of menus – we do spend time creating just for you and your guests. We provide ideas that you might not have thought of just to add that special touch.

“I have enlisted Paul’s help on several occasions for events from a private 40th birthday to business functions for over up to 100 guests. I am always amazed by his ability to come up with truly unique ideas on a limited budget. Paul is passionate about what he does and it shows. I would like to thank him for the help he has given me in the past. My only regret was that he was not asked to plan my 40th. What a night that would have been!” Carol Couling SRS BureauDSCF0033

“Paul Anthony Wenham is one of those rare people – highly personable, eye for detail and who goes the extra mile. Nothing is too much trouble and also in his profession knows when to be front of house or back stage. I would recommend him very highly.
